Chapter 1:
1. A good author always manages to give the reader enough information to make the reader "see" the characters. Using the information in Chapter 1, make a list of ways that Shade is described in the chapter.
2. Using the information you have gathered, create a picture in your thought book, of Shade the way you see him. Label with descriptions, captions, color it, add something you can touch, and something you can lift.... be creative!
