Preserving Alberta's Parks - Assignment May 30th- What are protected areas? Are as of land set aside to protect special features such as plants, animals and land forms.
Strict limits on how land can be used - hunting, fishing, logging, drilling and mining are banned in some areas - people can use some of resources, but some parts are off limits
Provincial Parks are managed by provincial government (Alberta)
National Parks are managed by Government of Canada.
