24 Hour Clock
In your Math Notebook- Mrs. Kluin will help you create a clock to help with telling a 24 Hour Clock. Once you get the hang of it, you will do great! Here are your instructions for today:
1. Notes for your Math Notebook- You need to copy these down and then you will create the clock to help you!
2. Create a 24 hour clock in your notebook using two different colors of paper and two different sizes of circles. You need glue, scissors, markers. Make sure to show the two arrows like below to help you remember when to switch from the top to the bottom.
3. If there is time- quiz your partner using your clocks to check- ex. Sabrina asks her partner what 13:30 is, her partner answers 1:30- then check their clocks

- The 24 hour clock can help us to know if time is in the morning (am) or evening (pm)
- If the hour is 12 or under- its morning
- If the hour is 13:00 to 24:00 it is afternoon
- After you hit 12 (pm) or noon, you keep counting up to 13, 14, 15 etc.
- For example: 1 pm is 13:00, 2 pm is 14:00 until you get to 24:00 (which is midnight)
